Zarnez Montgomery, LCSW

Zarnez Montgomery (she/her) is an outpatient psychotherapist at Cardinal Counseling. Zarnez earned her Bachelor of Social Work degree from Harding University and her Master of Social Work degree from Boston College. She is a Licensed Certified Social Worker (11211-C) in her native state of Arkansas. Zarnez has a background in a wide range of settings, including children/school-based environment, research and development, and outpatient
community-based programs for persons with chronic mental illnesses.

Zarnez’s approach

Zarnez therapeutic approach often includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT),
Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
(TF-CBT). Zarnez enjoys helping clients who have difficulties with trauma, sexual challenges, and/or relationship issues. She believes in providing an open and judgment-free place for her clients.

Zarnez specializes in treating trauma, depression, and anxiety in adults. She has experience
with treating individuals ages 18 and up, families, and couples. Zarnez believes that clients are the leaders in their own treatment, and makes every effort to support and put each client first.

Outside of her work, Zarnez finds joy in spending time with her family, reading a good book, and working on her pole/aerial arts.
